The ECWA is considered one of THE premier independent wrestling promotion in the United States and is the longest running, having been established in 1967.
Many young stars seen today in the major leagues have used the ECWA as a proving ground before heading to the major groups to become stars: Daniel Bryan, AJ Styles, Austin Aries, Matt and Jeff Hardy, Christian, Christopher Daniels, and Low Ki among them.
The ECWA Annual Super 8 Tournament (EST. 1997) has been a hotbed for young outstanding talents to compete in and has served as a platform for greater exposure and more opportunities! Its sister tournament, the Women's Super 8, was established in 2014 and won by second-generation star Tessa Blanchard!
